Sunday Sessions

Not a care in the world…

It’s been a lazy day friends.

Training this week was great. I did four weight training sessions, intervals on the treadmill, a run at Burleigh Heads beach, and even managed to get on the spin bike. I haven’t pedalled since the beginning of the year and oh did my legs notice. I had big plans or the weekend too.

I wanted to train hard this weekend. I felt great all week. I ran yesterday. I hadn’t counted on coming down with something today. Not sure whether it’s a cold or flu or just feeling run down or having drunk too much red wine. Normally, I’d put my bet on the wine but it’s not that.

So instead of running on this gorgeous Sunday, I’ve spent the day sitting on the balcony reading a bit of Runner’s World and Oxygen magazine, checking out realestate.com.au for potential properties, doing a bit of writing (a lot less than I’d have liked to), planning a weekend away, and just bumming around the house.

It’s going to be an early night tonight and fingers crossed tomorrow I wake up feeling normal again.
