Fifteen Weeks

The unexpected happens. Deal with it. You can have a cry. Ask why. But none of that is going to help. Shit sometimes happens. Just be prepared. Go with the flow. Get it sorted. Then, move on.

Having said that, I decided to have one main race this year. Too much of everything else going on at the moment.

The Gold Coast Half Marathon.

The past two years in a row I ran the full marathon. It was great. Painful. Exciting. Exhausting. I could keep on throwing out the adjectives. This year I want to try the half.

I want to put in 100% training for the half.

Fifteen weeks.

I’ve had a break for the past couple of months due to recovery and personal reasons. I’m ready to get back into, slowly and properly, so I can avoid injuries and run strong.

Fifteen weeks is a perfect time to get back my lost fitness, pick up the pace gradually and be prepared for race day.

No excuses.
