One Down, Eleven To Go

January flew by so quickly that I’m left to wonder whether it was here in the first place. It’s as if someone ‘upstairs’ set the clocks on fast forward. The other day I was working on a university assignment, when I first looked at the clock it was half past eight, when I looked again it was half nine but it felt like only five minutes had gone by. What’s up with that? Are you finding that the time seems to be going by so much faster than ever before?

By this time a large number of people forget their resolutions, their health and fitness goals or other objectives they have set for themselves. The crowded gyms in the first week of January are becoming less crowded every day; the supermarkets are selling more sweets once again, and life is getting in the way of many resolutions and goals of 2011. Hence, this update.

For me January was a busy month to say the least. I packed, cleaned, sent packages to Australia, worked on uni assignments, read a lot, learnt to ski and ran. What I did lag behind on was my writing, which really sucks. Once the assignments are submitted I’m going to have to shift my focus to writing queries and trying to get some writing work. About what? Running, health and fitness I hope.

Total km ran in January – 120km

Books read – 9

Satisfaction Level – 7.5/10

How are you going with your new year’s resolutions/goals?

  1. It’s frustrating sometimes when time just gets away – how’s your move plans going? You must be nearly there now, hope you are not too stressed!
