Training In Review

There’s not much to report this week unfortunately.
Mon – Wed
Rest
(the days were spent in bed under the duvet watching tv shows and surfing the Internet – I swear these two things are complete time wasters yet so easy to do when you can’t really be doing much else)
Thu – Sun
20 min walk each day
Plus, sitting in bed watching more tv shows and surfing the Internet. Yep, it’s been an exciting week here I must say. The good news is that I feel completely rested and ready to go back to work tomorrow and training (though I’m sure I’ll be ready for the weekend come mid week).

On another note, I’ve six weeks to go before we fly to Poland for a month. I’m happy to say that it will still be summer over there which means warm days and nights (fingers crossed). That also means less covering up and more summer dresses. So, for the next six weeks I’m going to try to make sure that I include a significant amount of strength training into my training(great for speeding metabolism, increasing strength, building a nicely toned figure that will fit into a bikini), more fresh fruit and vegetables and less sugar
This is also going to be a little personal experiment. I’m going to get Jarek to take a photo each Sunday for the next six weeks to see whether the work with weights on top of the marathon training will have an impact. Next Sunday, I’ll write about my progress.
