Training in Review

PM: 40 min run (7km)
Does running for the train count as fitness? I made it in record time, 4 minutes from leaving the office to running down the station steps just as the train was pulling in. Usually it takes closer to ten, now I’m puffed and looking forward to getting home 20 minutes early for my run.

Tue 2/10

PM: 20 min walk

Wed 3/10
AM: 30 min swim (1.5km – 250 free/50 breastroke) + 120 min cycle (41.2km)
PM: 40 min run (7km) + 15 min walk with Kola

50 min swim (2.2km – 200m w/up + 6x300m (200pull/100kick) + 200m cool down)

AM: Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle Challenge – 4 hours & 18 mins cycling (101km) +
40 mins cycle (12km cycle home from the finish)

More on today’s cycle challenge tomorrow. Right now I’m knackered and sore, but thanks to the bike shorts, I’m pain free in the bottom region (too much info, yeah well I’m noticing more everyday that cycling, running and triathlon are not the most modest of sports). The rest of me, well, I’ll let you know tomorrow.
